Australia goes back-to-back at the Motocross of Nations 2025

Team Australia defended the Chamberlain Trophy in dominant fashion at Ironman Raceway, Indiana, claiming their second consecutive Motocross of Nations title.

Jett and Hunter Lawrence were simply untouchable — between the two brothers, they won all three motos on Sunday after already topping their qualifying heats on Saturday. Kyle Webster’s gritty 13th place in Race 2 (MX2 + Open), after a first-turn crash, also proved vital for the team tally.

Team USA finished runner-up on home soil. Despite late lineup changes, Eli Tomac (4-2) led the charge, but consistent rides from Justin Cooper and RJ Hampshire weren’t enough to challenge the Australians. France rounded out the podium with a solid effort from Maxime Renaux, Romain Febvre, and Mathis Valin.

Belgium came close to a podium before misfortune struck — Sacha Coenen’s DNF in Race 1 and a crash from Lucas while leading the final moto ended their hopes. Slovenia achieved its best-ever result in fifth, thanks to strong rides from Tim Gajser (4-3) and a breakout performance by Jan Pancar, who finished third in Race 2.
