After the summer break, the Spanish Motocross Elite Championship is back. Alhama de Murcia will host the sixth round of the season, with all categories still wide open. Fans can look forward to the battles in MX125, ÉLITE-MX1, and ÉLITE-MX2—and the excitement is guaranteed.

First motos on Saturday:

It’s important to note a schedule change: the first motos of ÉLITE-MX1 and MX2 will be held on Saturday, with the second motos taking place on Sunday. Another big highlight is the debut of the ELF SuperSprint Motocross, presented by RFME together with ELF and Bridgestone. This new format aims to revolutionize motocross in Spain: a 10-minute sprint race with elimination each lap and €5,500 in prize money. The event will bring together the top 15 riders of Élite MX1 and MX2 on a single gate. On every lap, the last two riders will be eliminated, with the winner taking home €2,000.

Championship fights:

In the championship fight, Ander Valentín will try to defend his lead in MX1, holding just a five-point advantage over José Antonio Butrón. In MX2, Adrià Monné took over the red plate with 225 points after Oriol Oliver missed the last round in Calatayud to race in the British Championship. Monné now leads by nine points over Oliver.
