Determination, redemption, and class headline the opening weekend of the 2025 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship presented by Monster Energy.
Round 2 of the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship presented by Monster Energy capped off an unforgettable double-header at Kayo Stadium, where emotion, aggression, and world-class racing lit up Moreton Bay.
SX1: Emotional win for Wilson
It was a weekend of dominance and heart from Scotsman Dean Wilson (Quad Lock Honda Racing), who backed up his Round 1 victory with another commanding 1-1 performance in Redcliffe.
“This one means a lot,” said Wilson, visibly emotional on the podium. “It’s been a tough week, but I just wanted to ride strong and do it for my family. Huge thanks to the fans — you guys lifted me all night.”

Cedric Soubeyras (Boost Mobile Honda) finished second overall with a solid 2-2. The Frenchan tried to chase Wilson´s rhtym in the first stages but couldn´t get closer. The podium was filled by veteran Hayden Mellross (KTM) with a 3-4.
On the other hand, it was a tough night for Empire Kawasaki’s Luke Clout. After setting the fastest lap time in qualifying, Clout looked like a real threat to Wilson’s dominance, but things went downhill quickly.

He suffered a big crash in the opening corner of Final 1, then endured another incident in Final 2 before remounting to finish 11th. It was a bitter pill to swallow for the Kawasaki rider, who leaves Redcliffe ninth in the standings — already 48 points down on red-plate holder Dean Wilson, who earned a perfect 100 points by sweeping all four finals over the weekend.
