MXGP of Turkiye: Langenfelder wins the Qualifying Race as the MXGP race was cancelled

Heavy rain and windy conditions towards the end of the MX2 Qualifying Race resulted in the cancellation of the MXGP Qualifying Race of the 17th round of the MXGP of Turkey.

MXGP qualifying race has been canceled today in Turkey due to the conditions. It started to rain and also with heavy winds towards the end of the MX2 qualifying race making things dangerous for the riders. This means that tomorrow´s races will be based on the Time Qualifying results in which Tim Gajser set the fastest lap over Jorge Prado and Jeremy Seewer.

Meanwhile, in the MX2 class, Red Bull GasGas rider Simon Langenfelder celebrated his third Qualifying Race win. The German went on a wire-to-wire performance after taking the holeshot. However, in the final stages of the race, he came under pressure by Liam Everts. Roan Van de Moosdijk rounded the top three with a solid ride.

Red Plate holder Andrea Adamo didn´t score points as he crashed in the first lap and finished 11th just one spot behind the points spots.
