The 2024 Australian Supercross season is getting exciting as we approach the opening round, which will be held on Saturday, October 12th, at the Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe.

Last month we learned that nine-time Australian Supercross champion Matt Moss and CDR Yamaha will reunite for the first time since 2006 to contest the series. But Moss’ deal is not the only one, as Aaron Tanti recently signed a deal with Boost Mobile Honda, while Dylan Wills (main image) has secured a mount with the GasGas Racing Team.

AARON TANTI TEAMS UP WITH BOOST MOBILE HONDA

Australia’s 2022 Motocross Champion, Aaron Tanti, has joined Boost Mobile Honda for the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship. In 2022, Tanti also secured 3rd overall in the SX1 class, highlighted by a victory in Adelaide over five-time champion Justin Brayton.

In 2023, he finished 4th in the Motocross Championship, but his Supercross season was hampered by injuries. Determined to push himself further, Tanti took on the challenge of racing in America in 2024, despite a difficult year plagued by injuries. He ended his overseas stint with a strong 4th place overall in the Canadian Motocross Championship.

Tanti is no stranger to leading Supercross races in Australia and has set his sights on another championship, believing that his experience in America will better prepare him for the upcoming season.

“Racing in America has been really beneficial, even if my results don’t fully show it. I’m coming home as a better rider and racer. “This team clearly wants to win, and they understand that every rider is different. I’m eager to get to know the team, the bike, and everyone involved. Yarrive is a fierce competitor, and I’m excited to work with him.”

DYLAN WILLS TO HEADLINE GASGAS RACING TEAM

After finishing fourth in his rookie SX1 campaign during the 2022 season with a breakout main event podium to his credit, 28-year-old Wills rebounded from a pre-season injury last year to salvage P6 in the final standings.

“I’m stoked to be teaming up with the GASGAS Racing Team for the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship! It’s not every day you find a brand that you think you really fit in with, the GASGAS DNA and brand are things I’ve always really liked, so it’s a really cool partnership for me and I’m looking forward to making the most of it. I’ve been on the 2025 GASGAS MC 450F for about a week now and I’m really liking it, the team have given me a great base setup to start with, so I’m excited to get to work and continue improving it further. Teaming up with Byron Dennis is also a highlight for me, he’s a young rider that I have a lot of time for and have spent a lot of time with over the years, so it’s kind of a full circle moment for me, I’m looking forward to seeing the #64 and #6 under the GASGAS rig at Redcliffe!”
