The 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship is still two weeks away from kicking off, but several international riders have already confirmed plans to race selected rounds throughout the summer. From established European contenders to rising young prospects, names from France, Spain, Australia and the Netherlands are preparing to test themselves against America’s best outdoors. Here’s a look at the riders currently confirmed so far.

French rider Mathys Boisrame will once again bring his 737 Performance-backed programme to the United States in 2026, with confirmation that he will contest the opening two rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Fox Raceway in Pala on May 30 and High Point on June 6.

Boisrame already got his first taste of American motocross last season when he made his AMA Pro Motocross debut at Unadilla and Ironman. Across four motos, the Frenchman recorded finishes of 18-27-15-18 while adapting to an entirely new environment and race format.

Meanwhile, the BUD Racing Kawasaki duo of Francisco Garcia and Jake Cannon are also set for selected AMA appearances later in the summer, with both riders confirmed for the Southwick National on July 11.

Garcia arrives as one of the brightest Spanish prospects in the sport. The Kawasaki rider currently leads both the EMX250 Championship and the French Elite MX2 series. Southwick will mark his second experience racing in the United States after representing Spain at the 2025 Motocross of Nations at Ironman. The Spaniard is also widely recognised for his speed and technique in sandy conditions, making Southwick a particularly interesting stop for his American return.

On the other side of the awning, Australian teammate Jake Cannon heads stateside carrying strong momentum after securing the first EMX250 overall victory of his career at Trentino earlier this season.

Another European name joining the AMA Pro Motocross paddock this summer will be Dutch rider Roan van de Moosdijk. The reigning ADAC MX Masters champion has started 2026 in strong form after finishing second overall at the opening round of the German series while also continuing to compete in selected MXGP World Championship rounds.

Van de Moosdijk has now confirmed plans to race two AMA Pro Motocross rounds this summer, beginning with the iconic RedBud National on July 4 before tackling the deep sand of Southwick one week later.

With several established European talents and rising prospects heading overseas, the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross season is once again set to feature an intriguing international presence throughout the summer.
