The winter break comes to an end for the 24MX Tour as the 2026 French Elite Motocross Championship officially kicks off on February 28 and March 1 at the Castelnau-de-Lévis circuit in the Tarn region.

Tom Vialle (Honda HRC) is set to line up in what will be his final pre-season appearance before heading to the Argentine Grand Prix just six days later. Reigning 2025 champion Kevin Horgmo returns for another campaign with Honda SR Motoblouz, joined by new teammate Thibault Benistant.

Calvin Fonvieille will make his debut in the premier class on home soil aboard a KTM. At Yamaha GSM Dafy Michelin, Maxime Desprey and Bogdan Krajewski are expected to contend for top results, alongside experienced names such as Cédric Soubeyras, Adrien Malaval, Tom Guyon, Jimmy Clochet, and Brice Maylin.

Deep field in MX2

Defending MX2 champion Mathys Boisramé suffered a knee injury at the Paris Supercross and resumed training later than planned. Although his participation remained uncertain, a final decision was made shortly before the event in agreement with KTM 737 Performance to line up for Round 1.

Francisco Garcia

Boisramé will face stiff competition from the Kawasaki Bud Racing duo of Francisco García and Jake Cannon, as well as Matéo Russi (Triumph Tech32). Other notable entries include Tom Brunet on his 250cc two-stroke Yamaha YZ, Alexis Fueri (Beta), Mano Faure — making his MX2 debut with the VHR factory Yamaha team — and Saad Soulimani aboard a TM.
