Marc-Antoine Rossi Set to Return at Final Round of French Elite Championship

Red Bull KTM’s Marc-Antoine Rossi will make his return to racing this Sunday, June 29, at the final round of the 2025 French Elite Motocross Championship in Rauville-la-Place. The talented French rider has been sidelined since March due to a shoulder injury sustained shortly after the MXGP of Argentina.

Rossi suffered a dislocated shoulder in a training crash on March 7. Following a thorough medical evaluation at a hospital in Lyon, doctors opted for surgery to repair a fracture, aiming to ensure a complete recovery and full return to strength.

While it is still uncertain whether Rossi will rejoin teammates Simon Längenfelder, Andrea Adamo, and Sacha Coenen at the next MXGP round in Finland in two weeks, his participation this weekend marks a crucial first step in his comeback.

The event at Rauville-la-Place will also feature a notable debut, as the Ducati Desmo250MX makes its first appearance outside of Italy.

In terms of championship battles, Kevin Horgmo is on the verge of securing the MX1 title, needing just a handful of points. In MX2, Mathys Boisramé holds a 15-point lead over Spain’s Francisco García heading into the final round.
