Contracts for the 2025 season are slowly beginning to close and see the light of day. Yesterday Justin Cooper and Cameron McAdoo confirmed their contract extensions with their respective teams. Cooper will continue with Star Racing Yamaha, the team he has been with since his professional debut in 2017, while McAdoo will return to Pro Circuit for a sixth year in a row.

Justin Cooper | Star Racing Yamaha

Cooper will remain with Star Racing Yamaha after confirming that he has renewed his contract for another year. This means that Cooper will continue alongside Cooper Webb and Eli Tomac, who a couple of months ago confirmed a contract extension for a full season.

In his first year in the premier class, Cooper finished sixth in the AMA Supercross standings after a very consistent season full of Top 10s and a second place in the final round in Salt Lake City. In AMA Pro Motocross he was the protagonist of several battles for the top spots, although he only managed to get on the podium twice: Thunder Valley (Round 3) and Spring Creek (Round 7), both times 3rd, finishing fourth in the final standings.

Cameron McAdoo | Pro Circuit Kawasaki

Cameron McAdoo has announced via social media that he will continue with Pro Circuit Kawasaki after inking a new multi-year deal that will see him with Mitch Payton’s team for a sixth consecutive year.

2024 has been a complicated year for McAdoo as injuries weighed down a large portion of the season. In AMA Supercross he was leading the 250SX East Coast championship until suffering a shoulder injury in Nashville after a freak crash with teammate Levi Kitchen. Once he recovered he turned his focus to AMA Pro Motocross, but a month later another crash in routine training would aggravate the injury.

“Pleased to announce that I will be continuing my partnership with @pcraceteam @racekawasaki for the 2025 season and beyond. Since the day I walked into Mitch’s office and he offered me a spot on this team it has felt like home. We have had each others back through the trying times as well as the great times. This team’s loyalty and support of my racing goals is something that is hard to find. It is every kids dream to be a part of this program and to think this will be my 6th season here is humbling. Looking forward to letting the good times roll for a couple more years! Cheers”

McAdoo is the third rider to secure a spot inside Pro Circuit for 2025 alongside Ty Masterpool and Garrett Marchbanks. The future of his teammates, including Austin Forkner, remains uncertain.
