The young Italian talent from Honda HRC, Valerio Lata, will make his debut in the premier class this weekend during the final round of the Italian Prestige Championship in Arco di Trento.
With both titles arleady wrapped-up at the previous round in Castiglione del Lago —with Isak Gifting securing MX1 and Lata himself clinching MX2— the last stop of the series won’t be short of excitement. The 20-year-old from Rome will step up to MX1, facing the reigning champion Gifting, who will carry the #1 plate, as well as Jan Pancar, one of the season’s standout riders, though hampered by mechanical issues in the last round that paved the way for Gifting.

In MX2, with Lata absent, the battle promises to be historic. Alessandro Lupino will try to become the first rider to give Ducati a victory in MX2, after doing so in MX1 last year. However, Julius Mikula (TM) is chasing a breakthrough of his own, aiming to end nearly a decade-long drought for the brand, which hasn’t won in Prestige since 2016. The Czech rider will be looking to close the season on a high note.
As usual, Sunday’s races will be streamed live and free of charge on the FXAction Live YouTube channel.
