Glenn Coldenhoff Secures MXGP Bronze Medal at the MXGP of Shangai, penultimate round.
Fantic Factory’s Glenn Coldenhoff has officially locked in the bronze medal in the 2025 MXGP World Championship after the penultimate round in Shanghai, China—his second career bronze since 2019.
Consistency was key for the Dutchman’s season. After opening with a fifth place in Argentina, Coldenhoff never dropped outside the top 10 overall and collected six podium finishes along the way. His first came in Cózar (2nd), followed by Sardinia (2nd) and Trentino (3rd).
In the second half of the season, Coldenhoff shined again with a historic podium at Matterley Basin, where he also delivered Fantic’s maiden race win in MXGP. Further 3rd-place finishes came at Loket and Arnhem, delighting the home fans at his Dutch GP.
“What a tough GP, the heat was unreal and I struggled quite a bit. Looking at the results this weekend, it is definitely not what I wanted, but I gave it my all. I pushed hard in the first race and managed to make some passes, but I had nothing left in race 2. Still, the most important thing is that I managed to secure the bronze medal. I am very happy about that – it means a lot to me, the team, and everyone at Fantic. Thanks to everyone for the support!”
