The 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship will welcome two new faces this weekend at the High Point National as Team Green Kawasaki riders Vincent Wey and Kade Johnson prepare to line up in the 250 Class.
Both riders arrive from the Canadian Triple Crown Series, where they have been competing throughout the season and gaining valuable experience against top-level competition. Their addition brings another intriguing storyline to Round 4 of the Pro Motocross season, as two promising young talents take the next step in their careers.
Vincent Wey enters High Point carrying strong momentum from the latest Canadian Triple Crown round at Prairie Hill MX. The Kawasaki prospect recorded consistent 2-2 moto finishes, securing second overall for the weekend.

The second-generation racer will make his professional AMA Pro Motocross debut at High Point and will compete aboard the #270 Kawasaki in honor to his father, former pro rider Nick Wey with his classic #27.
Unlike Wey, Kade Johnson already has a small amount of AMA Pro Motocross experience. High Point will be the second Pro Motocross event of his career after making his debut at the 2025 Ironman National.
Johnson finished 34-16 in the motos for 20th overall at Ironman and returns looking to build on that experience. The Canadian rider heads to Pennsylvania after posting 4-4 moto scores for fourth overall at the most recent Canadian Triple Crown round. He will race with the #801 Kawasaki this weekend.
