EMX250 runner-up Nicolai Skovbjerg will make the leap to the MX2 World Championship in 2027 after signing with Beddini Racing Factory Ducati, becoming a factory rider for the first time in his career.
The young Dane was one of the breakout stars of the 2026 season. He secured three victories in the EMX250 European Championship, winning at Riola Sardo, Lommel, and Arnhem, and was one of the few riders capable of breaking the dominance of champion Fran Carbonero. He also dominated the ADAC MX Masters 250 to claim the title after a nearly flawless season.

After several seasons competing with private teams, Skovbjerg now has the opportunity to make the leap to a factory program and make his debut in the MX2 World Championship. At Ducati, he will share a pit with Italian rider Ferruccio Zanchi as part of a project that continues to strengthen the brand’s commitment to international motocross.
“I’m really proud and excited to announce that I’ll be joining Beddini Racing Factory Ducati for the 2027 MX2 World Championship. It’s a huge step in my career and a dream come true. I’m really looking forward to starting this new chapter, working with the team and giving it everything I have. I can’t wait to get started. Let’s go!”
