Red Bull KTM has confirmed that Eli Tomac will return to racing this Saturday, July 18, at Spring Creek for the seventh round of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
Tomac’s outdoor campaign came to an abrupt halt at the season opener at Fox Raceway. The American rider was involved in a first-lap incident with Garrett Marchbanks during Moto 1, resulting in a heavy crash that forced him to retire immediately. Tomac was transported from the track on a stretcher while wearing a neck brace as a precautionary measure.
Subsequent medical evaluations ruled out any fractures but confirmed a cervical hyperextension injury that has sidelined him since late May.
After several weeks of recovery, the Red Bull KTM rider has been cleared to return to competition and will line up once again at Spring Creek, where he will join teammate Jorge Prado behind the starting gate.
