Pipes Motorsport Group (PMG) has confirmed that Colt Nichols will replace Ken Roczen for the final two rounds of WSX in Sweden and South Africa, which will signal the end of the current SX1 points-leader’s 2025 campaign.

Ken Roczen has confirmed that Australia will be his final WSX appearance of the year. The rumors were true. After Vancouver, Roczen told Lewis Phillips of Vital MX that although his original contract covered the full season, WSX ultimately decided to have him race only the first three rounds. With his exit, the championship battle immediately opens up between Jason Anderson, Christian Craig, and Joey Savatgy.

Among them, Anderson heads into Gold Coast in the strongest position, sitting second in the standings with a 5-point advantage over Craig and a 10-point gap on Savatgy.
