Tough news for the Stark Future squad. The FIM World Supercross Championship confirmed that Lance Kobusch will miss the remainder of the series, just days before Round 3 at the Gold Coast. The reason for his absence hasn’t been explained yet, but the team already has a replacement lined up.

Kelana Humphrey will step in for the final four GPs. The American is no stranger to the Stark Varg platform—he’s raced the electric bike around the world and recently finished 7th overall in SX2 class at the SX Tour French series. He now joins teammate Michael Hicks, currently 8th in the standings.

This marks the third fill-in rider of the championship so far:

  • Matt Moss replaced Quentin Prugnières (SX1 – BUD Racing)
  • Wilson Todd stepped in for Anthony Bourdon (SX2 – Quad Lock Honda)
  • And now Humphrey takes over for Kobusch
