Today, the winner of the 2026 Motocross of Nations will be crowned following an action-packed Saturday that saw Team France emerge as the provisional leader heading into the main races.

The host nation was the most consistent team during qualifying thanks to the performances of Romain Febvre (2nd), Mathis Valin (1st) and Tom Vialle (3rd). France was also the only country to place all three riders inside the top three of their respective qualifying races.

Spain enters Sunday in second place after an impressive team effort. Jorge Prado won the MXGP Qualifying Race, Guillem Farrés charged to fourth in MX2.

Belgium completed the provisional top three, while The Netherlands will rely heavily on the form of Jeffrey Herlings, winner of the OPEN Qualifying Race. Meanwhile, Levi Kitchen’s third-place finish in MX2 highlighted the efforts of Team USA, which will be aiming to climb the standings during Sunday’s races.

Race format

The final classification will be decided across three motos:

  • MXGP + MX2
  • Open + MX2
  • MXGP + Open

At the end of the day, each nation’s best five scores from a possible six will count toward the final standings, with the worst score being discarded.
