The 54th Thor Mini O’s at Gatorback Cycle Park is officially underway, and heats races delivered exactly what everyone expected—tight battles, surprise standouts, and three different winners across the premier classes. With qualifying wrapped up for 250 Pro Sport, 450 Pro Sport and 250 A, the stage is set for an intense run into the mains.
250 Pro Sport
The first gate drop of the entire event came early Sunday at 7:15 a.m. with the 250 Pro Sport heat. Even though it was just a gate-pick race, the riders treated it like a final—block passes, momentum swings, and action from start to finish. When the dust settled, Carson Wood took the win ahead of Alvin Hillan and Landon Hartz.
250 A
Team Green Kawasaki’s Vincent Wey delivered one of the cleanest rides of the morning. A perfect holeshot-to-checkers performance gave him a convincing victory, with teammate Kade Johnson grabbing second in his Team Green debut. Cole Forbes completed the top three.
450 Pro Sport
The 450 Pro Sport heat kicked off early on Monday, and Max Shane (Husqvarna) took full control, leading wire-to-wire for a dominant win. Deacon Denno (Triumph) crossed the line in second, while Vincent Wey added another strong finish with third place.
