The 15th round of the 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship delivered great action. Lucas Coenen (Red Bull KTM) and Kay de Wolf (Nestaan Husqvarna) emerged victorious in the Lommel sand, both tightening the title fights with just four GPs to go.
In MXGP, Coenen shared moto wins with championship leader Romain Febvre (Kawasaki KRT), but his Qualifying Race victory tipped the scales, handing him the overall and trimming the points gap to just 9.
Calvin Vlaanderen (Monster Energy Yamaha) continued to shine in the sand with a consistent 3-5 for P3 overall, his second podium of the season. Glenn Coldenhoff (Fantic) and Andrea Bonacorsi (Fantic) completed the weekend’s Top 5.

In MX2, Kay de Wolf was untouchable — sweeping the Quali Race and both motos on Sunday. The Dutchman claimed his fifth win of the season, 13th career victory, and back-to-back hat-tricks after dominating in Finland.

Camden McLellan (Monster Energy Triumph) delivered a brilliant comeback in moto two and secured second overall with a 2-3, giving Triumph its third podium of the year. Championship leader Simon Längenfelder (Red Bull KTM) rode damage control mode after a crash in moto one (P7), finishing P4 in moto two and P5 overall. He still holds a 38-point lead over De Wolf.
