As one of the hottest riders all week at the Ranch, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Enzo Temmerman entered the final 250 Pro Sport moto with one goal – victory. His back-to-back wins through the first two motos gave him a healthy lead coming into Friday and while he certainly didn’t make life easy on himself, his Moto 3 performance epitomized the prowess he’d shown up to that point.
The moto began with Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha rider Kade Johnson in control, establishing a multi-second lead over Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Landen Gordon in second. Temmerman, meanwhile, started sixth and ultimately found himself more than 10 seconds behind the leader.
Nevertheless, he methodically worked his way forward and moved into the top three before the halfway point. From there, Johnson, Gordon, and Temmerman settled in. Then, with just three laps remaining, Temmerman dropped the hammer and picked up the pace considerably. After running nine seconds back for most of the moto, the Kawasaki rider was all over his rivals late and successfully made the pass on Gordon for second. He continued his forward surge to catch and pass Johnson on the final lap. The gritty effort capped off a 1-1-1 sweep for Temmerman, winning by seven seconds over Johnson. Gordon settled for third, with Munn Racing Husqvarna’s Diesel Thomas in fourth and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Landon Gibson in fifth.
Temmerman’s impressive sweep of the motos showcased his ability to both lead from the front and also come from behind. His 1-1-1 finishes for three points easily clinched the AMA National Championship, while Gordon completed a 1-2 overall result for Team Green with 2-4-3 finishes and nine points. Gibson rounded out the overall podium with 3-2-5 results for 10 points.
MOTO 2 RACE RECAP
Team Green Kawasaki’s Enzo Temmerman keeps his winnin streak at the 44th annual Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship with a commanding victory in the second 250 Pro Sport moto at the Ranch.
With two wins in his first two motos of the week, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Enzo Temmerman was brimming with confidence when he lined up for the second moto of 250 Pro Sport. As the field came to life out the gate it was the Team Green duo or Temmerman and Landen Gordon leading the way, with Gordon able to secure the holeshot. However, both riders were passed by Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha’s Kade Johnson.

Johnson was able to settle in out front for several laps, but the pressure mounted from a determined Temmerman, which pushed Gordon’s pace and allowed the Kawasaki rider to make the pass for the lead. Temmerman followed his teammate around Johnson into second and from there the Kawasaki rider dropped the hammer. Temmerman made the move from third to first in a single lap as he stormed past Gordon and set the fastest lap of the moto. From that point on, Temmerman never looked back.
The California moved to 3-0 on the week and has back-to-back 250 Pro Sports wins entering the third and deciding moto. He crossed the finish line 7.4 seconds ahead of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Landon Gibson, who once again showed his resiliency in a runner-up result that saw him start fifth. Johnson parlayed his strong start into a third-place finish, while Gordon lost ground late and dropped off the podium in fourth. EBR Performance/Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha’s Landon Hartz rounded out the top five.

MOTO 1 RACE RECAP
The first moto got underway with the Munn Racing Husqvarna of Diesel Thomas out front with the holeshot, closely followed by MRPSBR Husqvarna’s Dane Morales and Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Landen Gordon, who made several passes early on to slot into the top three. Gordon continued to push the pace early and successfully took over the lead after Thomas went down, just ahead of KTM Orange Brigade’s Luke Fauser, who followed into second.

Right behind them in third was SLR Honda’s Leum Oehlhof. Fauser then went down, which allowed Oelhof to move into second and EBR Performance/Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha’s Landon Hartz into third.
Oehlhof was the fastest rider on the track and after a persistent challenge for the lead, the Honda rider made the pass on Gordon to move into the top spot. Oelhof continued to control the moto through the halfway point, as Gordon continued to lose ground and eventually lost his hold of second to fellow Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Enzo Temmerman.
Once in second, the Californian was able to lower his pace and gained ground on Oehlhof out front. Temmerman continued to close on the Honda and turned an outside line into the winning pass around Oehlhof with a little less than half the moto to go.
Once out front, Temmerman stormed out to a lead of more than 20 seconds as Oehlhof encountered misfortune and was ultimately unable to finish the moto. Temmerman carried on to take the win 25 seconds ahead of Gordon for a Team Green 1-2, while Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Landon Gibson put forth an impressively resilient ride to overcome a 16th-place start and finish third. Hartz followed in fourth, with Thomas rounding out the top five.
