Jeffrey Herlings claimed a dominant overall victory at the MXGP of Loket, Round 13 of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship, and moved into the championship lead after winning both motos.
The Honda HRC Petronas rider capitalized on the absence of Lucas Coenen, who was ruled out of Sunday’s races due to a nerve compression injury in his left hip sustained after his crash at Foxhills and aggravated during Saturday’s Qualifying Race. Herlings now leads the championship by 49 points over the Belgian.
Tom Vialle completed a strong weekend to secure second overall with 3-2 moto scores, returning to the podium for the first time since Trentino. Romain Febvre rounded out the podium in third after finishing second in Race 1 and recovering from a first-turn crash in Race 2 to finish fifth.

Just missing out on the podium was Rubén Fernández, whose consistent 5-4 results earned him fourth overall and moved him up to fourth place in the championship standings.
With Coenen sidelined and Herlings in commanding form, the Dutchman leaves Loket with the red plate and firm control of the MXGP title race.
