The italian and GasGas are ready for another EnduroGP season that starts this weekend in Italy.

The champion returns to EnduroGP action! Following on from his incredible 2022 season, GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona gets back to world championship competition this coming weekend where the young Italian is focused on just one thing – winning! Crowned both Enduro1 and overall EnduroGP World Champion last year, Andrea now aims to get his title defense off to a flyer, starting with his home round of the series in Italy this weekend.

Verona has been super busy over the winter months. After making the decision to switch categories from Enduro1 to Enduro2 for 2023, the 23-year-old has spent the off-season adjusting to life on the more powerful EC 350F and keeping himself in the absolute best shape in order to hit the ground running at round one of the 2023 FIM EnduroGP World Championship.

The new challenge has strengthened Andrea’s motivation as he looks to not only equal his results from the 2022 season and secure two world titles, but to further improve his already impressive consistency and ensure a successful and trouble-free season.

The seven-round EnduroGP series kicks off this weekend in San Remo/Arma di Taggia in Italy. After that there’re rounds in Spain and Finland in May, Sweden and Slovakia in June, with a Portuguese double-header held in early October completing the season.

Andrea Verona: “The goal this year is to repeat my results from last season. For sure, it won’t be easy as all the top guys will be back and fighting to take the title from me. My winter training as gone really well and now I can’t wait to get back racing in the world championship. In the EnduroGP class I’d really like to improve my consistency and I think moving up to the E2 class on the EC 350F is going to help. The bigger bike really suits my smooth riding style and the challenge of a new class and a new bike has given me even more motivation. With the opening round of the championship being held in Italy, I really can’t wait to get on the gas and get back to racing.”
