Zach Osborne Crowned Open Pro Sport Champion at Loretta Lynn’s

Zach Osborne captured the Open Pro Sport title at the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch after a consistent performance across all three motos.

The Liqui Moly Beta rider established himself as the rider to beat in Moto 1, overcoming an early challenge from Kade Johnson to take a convincing victory ahead of Phil Nicoletti. Osborne followed that up with a runner-up finish in Moto 2 after leading much of the race before Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Landon Gibson capitalized on a late mistake to claim the win.

The championship was decided in Moto 3, where Osborne grabbed the early lead before Gibson charged to the front and secured his second consecutive moto victory. As the race unfolded, Osborne dropped back to fifth, but the result was enough to secure the overall title thanks to his strong opening motos.

With scores of 1-2-5, Osborne was crowned Open Pro Sport Champion, while Gibson finished second overall with an 8-1-1 scorecard. Jesson Turner completed the podium in third.

The championship marks another major achievement for the former Pro Motocross champion, who used his experience and consistency to overcome a stacked field of amateur prospects and veteran racers at Loretta Lynn’s.
