Ryder Malinoski Crowned 250 Pro Sport Champion at Loretta Lynn’s 2026

The 2026 edition of the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s crowned one of its most prestigious champions on Friday, as ClubMX Yamaha rider Ryder Malinoski secured the 250 Pro Sport title.

Malinoski laid the foundation for his championship with victory in the opening moto and followed it up with consistent performances of second and third in the remaining races. His 1-2-3 scorecard proved enough to clinch the overall title and add one of amateur motocross’ most coveted trophies to his résumé.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Landon Gibson capped off the class with a win in the final moto, combining it with a pair of third-place finishes to secure second overall. Star Racing Yamaha’s Carson Wood completed the podium after battling through difficult starts all week, posting moto finishes of 4-1-2. Wood ended the event tied on points with Gibson but was edged out of the runner-up position on the overall tiebreaker.

Attention now turns to the Open Pro Sport division, which will be decided on the final day of racing. Liqui Moly Beta’s Zach Osborne heads into Saturday as the rider to beat after an impressive 1-2 score in the opening motos, giving him a six-point advantage over Gibson, whose contrasting 8-1 results keep him firmly in contention for the title.
