Breaking news from BC Place: Australian rider Matt Moss will miss Round 2 of the FIM World Supercross Championship. The Venum BUD Racing Kawasaki rider aggravated a pelvis injury during this afternoon’s Practice session and has been ruled out of tonight’s action.
Moss currently sits 9th in the SX1 standings after a strong opener last weekend in Buenos Aires, but his Vancouver campaign ends before the night show even begins.
With Moss sidelined, BUD Racing is now down to a single SX1 rider — Justin Hill, who qualified 15th earlier today. The team will evaluate Moss’s condition in the coming days and determine his status for the next rounds of the championship.
