2025 kicks off with big news for the women’s motocross scene, and that is the AMA Pro Motocross will once again feature the WMX Women’s category for the first time since 2018.
In recent years women’s motocross was sidelined from AMA Pro Motocross, and shared the calendar with different amateur events. However, this year the series will be held together with the main national categories. There will be a total of 6 rounds that will be held on Fridays, the day before the 450 and 250 categories.
The first round will be held on Friday, May 23 at Pala Raceway, one day before the first round of the 450 and 250 AMA Pro Motocross classes.
Rule Changes:
- Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years
- Machine Size: 122-250cc
- Minimum Wheelbase: Front 21”; Rear 18”.
