The season finale of the ADAC MX Masters in Holzgerlingen delivered drama, rain-soaked conditions, and ultimately a new champion.
Dutch rider Roan van de Moosdijk (Kosak Racing Team) secured the 2025 crown with a flawless double victory on Sunday, marking both his first ADAC MX Masters title and the first in the premier class for his team.
On Saturday, van de Moosdijk finished second behind Jordi Tixier, enough to steal the championship lead from Max Nagl by a single point heading into the decisive motos. Sunday’s opening race saw van de Moosdijk dominate from start to finish, taking victory ahead of Tom Koch-Spies and Tixier, while Nagl slipped to sixth and was later penalized for ignoring a yellow flag, dropping to eighth.

In the final moto, Tixier grabbed the Red Bull Holeshot, but van de Moosdijk quickly surged into the lead on lap one ahead of Noah Ludwig and Nagl. Mid-race, Nagl managed to take second from Ludwig, but the gap to van de Moosdijk was insurmountable. With another commanding win, the Dutchman not only wrapped up the title but also became the only rider to win two events in 2025.
“I still can’t believe it, but today everything went the way it should. I felt good, had great starts. This year I had some bad luck—like the crash at the start in Bielstein and the chain issue—but the team and I never gave up, we always believed in the title. Huge thanks to Kosak Racing for trusting me. I’m so happy.”
