UK Arenacross 2026: New Race Format & Schedule

arenacross

The 2026 Arenacross Tour has announced an ‘all new’ race schedule for the Night Show, kick off this Saturday, January 31st, at the BP Pulse Live Arena at the NEC complex in Birmingham.

The new schedule will see the AX Pro Riders hit the track up to five times through the night, as Arenacross debuts a new three-race format with Main Events getting progressively longer, while introducing a Hot Lap Qualification session and keeping those fan favourite Head-to-Head two-rider sprint showdowns, which will now feature every Pro athlete on the roster!

The AX Pro Hot Lap Qualification session will set the top riders against the clock for that vital gate pick – expect them to ride on the edge at maximum effort, probably more than at any other time!

The Pros will go straight from that session into the first Main Event, just half an hour after the start of the Show! This 12-lap clash will get the riders their first points-scoring opportunity of the night, all counting towards the Arenacross British Championship.

The second AX Pro Main Event will extend to 14 laps, again all counting towards the Championship. ! Then, in a true test of stamina for the AX Pro riders, their third and final Main Event will get underway at ten past nine, this time a track-tearing 16-lap affair that will come down to survival of the fittest. This Main Event will also feature a reverse grid line-up on the start-gate, meaning the fastest riders go the grid last!

The Head-to-Head races get the fans roaring, especially as they will feature all of the top stars, they’re not just for qualifying anymore as Championship points will be on the line. We’ll also see the first-ever Arenacross 3 rider Head to Head Main Event!

No Live Stream This Year

This season, Arenacross will not be live streamed anywhere — because this is a show built to be felt in person. The noise, the lights, the tension on the start gate, the freestyle motocross flying overhead — it’s an atmosphere that simply can’t be replicated on a screen.
