The inaugural Arenacross World Tour burst into life this past weekend at the BP Pulse Arena in Birmingham and as always with Arenacross it was jammed pack with excitement as the race to Abu Dhabi got underway.
Jorge Zaragoza has won the opening round of the 2025 Arenacross World Tour, showing brilliance all night long. Racing for Stark Future, a team and a bike that won the Arenacross title in 2024 with Jack Brunell, the Spaniard started his night with setting the second fast lap in his group and was fourth in the combined times results. Then take the second heat race.
In the main event, Zaragoza took the early lead and led every lap in order to win the first Main Event of the season. Cedric Soubeyras finished second after caught Dean Wilson, who rounded the podium on his UK Arenacross debut.
On the other hand, Conrad Mewse suffered damaged ligaments in his shoulder in a testing session, which explain his absence.
Up next is the OVO Arena, Wembley on Saturday 18th January which will host round two of the ACU Arenacross British championship where the action and excitement will continue.
