Unlike the usual calendar, this Italian championship race will exceptionally be held entirely on Sunday. At the request of CONI President Giovanni Malagò, the Italian Motorcycling Federation has suspended all sporting activities on Saturday, April 26, the day on which the funeral of Pope Francis will be held.
