The legendary track of Lommel will experience a complete makeover. The current layout dates back to the Corona-year of 2020, and only saw minor changes ever since.
In 2023 we’ll see a completely new layoutieuwe layout, where we thought of the general public in the first place. By moving the Pitlane and start with it’s associated Skybox to the outside, we’ll be able to create a better visibility for all fans in general.
Additionally, the public zones will be connected in a better way, which should only benefit the already legendary Lommel Atmosphere.
The renewal of the track will mean that Lommel will be one of the toughest tracks in the world again. The freshly turned sand and the addition of the “Carousel” – a corner without end which will become extremely rough during the races – will push the riders’ limits. We’re curious to see how absolute Sand specialists like Jeffrey Herlings, Kay De Wolf, Liam Everts and others will tame this new track!
