Spanish Motocross RD4 – Sanlucar Qualifying Race Results

The fourth round of the Spanish Elite Motocross Championship is taking place in Sanlucar de Barrameda, in Cadiz. As usual, Saturday held the Qualifying Races for the MX1 and MX2 classes, providing points for the championship, with 5 for 1st, 4 for 2nd and so on among the Top 5 finishers.

TRT KTM Motorcycle´s Jose Butron took the MX1 Qualy Race after a perfect performance leading from the start to the finish line. Yamaha Ausio´s duo Ander Valentin and Nil Arcarons rounded the Top 3, respectively. Now Butron has extended his points lead to 15 over Ander Valentin.

Meanwhile, in the MX2 class, David Braceras from Fantic Paricio Team edged Francisco Garcia (Mequitec GasGas) for the win. Both riders have been enjoying moments of brilliance at the international level, as Braceras sits 17th in the MX2 World Championship standings and Garcia earned his first career podium in the EMX250 class at Trentino. The top 3 was filled by Samuel Nilsson.

Current championship leader Gerard Congost finished fifth and earned 1 point. However, the GasGas rider keeps the red plate within 19 points over Nilsson.
