The first team for the 2024 Motocross of Nations, which will take place at Matterley Basin on the 5th and 6th of October has been announced.
South Africa already decided on its three-rider lineup for the MXoN. Despite being sidelined due to injury, Triumph´s Camden McLellan will take the spot in the MX2 class. McLellan already has a podium in the MX2 World Championship, which is a big boost of confidence for him.
Meanwhile, Tristan Pourdon has been selected to race in the Open class. Pourdon sits 7th in the ACU British Championship standings and he has been racing selected AMA Pro Motocross rounds lately. Similar story for Cameron Durow, who will be racing in the MXGP class.
Last year, South Africa finished 13th in Ernée. They best result so far is a 5th overall at the Motocross of Nations of St.Jean D´Angely in 2000.
