After missing a big part of the 2023 season so far with a wrist injury, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker has set a target of returning at the Red Bud round of Pro Motocross.

The 22-year-old rider suffered a broken arm and the left scaphoid bone in the lead-up to the 250SX East opener in Houston and required surgery to repair the damage.

“Little late, but I’m back on the bike getting ready for some racing. My wrist is feeling good and I’m having a blast being back on the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki. Jacob Martin (mechanic) has been killing it like usual and making sure everything is top-notch. If all keeps progressing well, the plan will be to return to racing at RedBud! Thanks to the team and everyone in my corner for the hard work.”

Last year, Hammaker ranked seventh in the 250MX standings, where he finished inside the top 10 eight times.

Besides Hammaker, the team expects to have Carson Mumford and Jett Reynolds back on the track after they missed the last round at High Point due to rough crashes at Thunder Valley. The AMA Pro Motocross series return on July 1st at Red Bud.
