Nilsson, who has 12 MX2 Grand Prix races under his belt and a top-five finish in the EMX250 series, will compete in the majority of the European MX2 rounds. In addition, he will be riding for Triumph Spain in the Spanish Championship.
Samuel Nilsson:
“I am thrilled to join the team. 2025 is my final year in the MX2 class due to the age rule, and I was looking for a setup that gives me the best opportunity to achieve the results I know I am capable of. The combination of great support from Triumph Spain in the Spanish Championship and Young Motion powered by Resa at the Grand Prix is a fantastic opportunity for me, especially after competing in the Grand Prix last year as a privateer. I’m really looking forward to the season and am already deep into training to be fully prepared.”
Roan aan de Stegge, Team Manager:
“We have been following Samuel’s results over the past few years and have seen the speed he possesses. He has been a top performer in the Spanish MX2 Championship, and even as a privateer in the Grand Prix last year, his skill, drive, and results spoke for themselves. We’re excited to welcome him to the team and are confident that, together, we can achieve great results”.
