RJ Hampshire is working on his 450SX debut

A few days ago, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider RJ Hampshire, who is currently in the 250SX West Coast in AMA Supercross, posted a photo of Malcolm Stewart`s bike but with the number #24 on it, and made a joke about loaning his bike while Stewart is still out due to an injury. Besides the joke, it seems that indeed Hampshire will be making his 450SX debut sooner or later this season.

Now, according to some sources around Hampshire`s team, it seems that early this season he had the option to do three 450SX races on the East Coast and currently he´s prepping to take part in Daytona, round eight of the series, and maybe Atlanta too.

Hampshire has been in the 250 class since 2015. For 2024, he´s planning to move -finally – to the 450SX class full-time, so this pair of races will be crucial for him to earn a decent contract for next year.
