Unfortunately, Rick Elzinga will not be able to line up at the starting gate of the opening round of the Internazional D´Italia series next weekend, February 1st in Alghero.
The Dutch rider suffered an injury to his left kneecap following a collision during training, but he is already doing everything possible to participate in the first round of the MXGP World Championship scheduled in Argentina.
Despite Elzinga’s absence, to whom we wish a speedy recovery so we can see him back on the track soon, the Beta MRT Racing team is ready to kick off the season with high ambitions on the Alghero track.
Jago Geerts will defend the team’s colors, making his competitive debut on the Beta. In MX2, meanwhile, young riders Alexis Fueri and Brando Rispoli are ready to shine on the Sardinian track.
