The 2025–26 AMA Arenacross Championship resumed last night with Round 6 at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, delivering an action-packed return to the series.
Austin Politelli (MCR Honda) was the standout of the night, sweeping both Main Events ahead of his teammate and championship leader Ryan Breece. Politelli grabbed the holeshot in each race and controlled the pace from the front, with Breece staying close in the opening laps before Politelli managed to break away. The double victory moves Politelli up to second in the standings, now 17 points behind Breece.
Robbie Wageman also made a solid return to the championship, finishing third in both Main Events aboard his Team Solitaire Yamaha. However, the night was a mixed one for the team. Title contender Cole Thompson suffered a heavy crash in the opening Main Event, resulting in a DNF. Fortunately, Thompson was able to line up for the second race, where he recovered to finish fourth. He now sits third in the championship, trailing Breece by 27 points.
The AMA Arenacross series now shifts to Reno next weekend for a double-header, with Rounds 7 and 8 taking place on Friday and Saturday, as the championship enters its final stretch with 10 rounds total.
