Today the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series will mark round 14 of 17, this time in East Rutherford, home of the first West-East showdown of the calendar where Jett and Hunter Lawrence will be competing with each other for the first time since the last round of the AMA Pro Motocross series back in September. Both had been dominant on their respective coasts. So dominant that they only lost one time so far. Jett was 2nd in Anaheim 2 and Hunter 3rd in Arlington, each race was a Triple Crown event. And this time one of them will be lost one more time, as the box has only one place for the winner. It will be Jett or Hunter? That´s the big question for today. O perhaps some of their rivals could emerge with the win beating the HRC riders in the process.

So far Haiden Deegan has been growing up in speed and confidence. The rookie sensation earn another podium a week ago in Atlanta and as a result, he climbed to the second step in the standings, 45 points behind Hunter Lawrence. That means that with only 2 rounds left, Hunter will be crowned at the end of the day. The big of the clan Lawrence only needs 2 points to clinch his first-ever title in the AMA circuit.

Meanwhile, in the 250SX West Coast, RJ Hampshire still has a few chances to fight for the title as he currently sits second with a 26 points deficit from Jett Lawrence. Is not the most dramatic scenario for the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna but…who knows? Everything can happen once the riders hit the track. On a beside note, Hampshire already secures a two-year deal contract extension with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, which will be a boost of confidence for tonight as now he doesn´t need to worry about his future.

In the 450SX class, the title fight still burning. Atlanta was a strange race with Tomac and Webb fighting each other for fourth place. Sexton took the win. The HRC rider gap was 25 points and now is 17 behind Tomac. This explains how tightened are things in this final stretch. Every point is crucial.
