We had a quick chat with Jeffrey Herlings moments after he earn his 100th GP win at Riola Sardo, the second round of the MXGP World Championship. Herlings didn´t win any of the races, but his desire and determination were the keys to climbing positions in the late stages of both races to earn the victory via 2-2. This is the second time in his career that Herlings won a GP without winning races. The first time was back in 2011 in the GP of Portugal in the MX2 class, also with a 2-2.
Now Herlings moves up to second in the standings just 7 points behind Jorge Prado, who went third overall with a 1-6.
