Preview: Supercross of Paris 2024

Tom-Vialle-2023-Paris-SX-250-SX-F-1

The 40th edition of the Paris Supercross, the most important Supercross race in Europe, will be held on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17.

This event is a classic in the sport’s scene that has been held every year, except in 2020 by COVID-19. The first editions were known as Bercy Supercross due to the location of the event, although in 2014 it was moved to Lille, and since 2017 it has been held in Paris.

Jett Lawrence is back to defend the King of Paris crown he won for the first time – and on his first visit – last year. Jett became only the second Australian to win the trophy after Chad Reed in 2007. His brother Hunter will also be in action after finishing runner-up.

Cooper Webb, last year’s third place finisher, will be back for a rematch. Another American who could face the Lawrence brothers will be Malcolm Stewart. And Dylan Ferrandis heads the list of French riders capable of matching the foreigners alongisde Greg Aranda.

In the SX2, Jo Shimoda will try to retain the title of Prince of Paris against Tom Vialle. Anthony Bourdon, Mathys Bosirame or Maxime Desprey, alongside the Top 12 of the SX Tour series promise a great battle.
