After Basly and Castelnau-de-Lévis, the 24MX Tour series is back in the game for round three in Romagne. Maxime Desprey and Mathys Boisramé keep the red plate on their respective classes.
Maxime Desprey is the man to beat in the MX1 class. The GSM Yamaha rider has won three out of four motos for two overalls. He started the season with a double moto win and then took another overall via 1-2 in Castelnau-de-Lévis for Round 2. Those two wins have given a 13-point advantage over reigning champ Valentin Guillod. The Motobluz SRL Honda rider has been pretty consistent with a 2-3-2-3 in motos and had some good results in MXGP, but not enough to beat Desprey. Maybe the third time is the charm…
Desprey teammate Greg Aranda sits third in the standings. Meanwhile, Rookies Kevin Horgmo and Pierre Goupillon will again look for more as they battle for fourth place in the championship.

In the MX2 class, Mathys Boisrame keeps the red plate after winning three out of four motos. However, a mechanical failure during the first moto in Castelnau cost him a possible overall. He bounced back in race 2 but it was Mathys Valin who emerged with his first MX2 win over teammate Benjamin Garib. These two are the real threats for Boisramé, but the Husqvarna France rider will be on his home soil this weekend.
