This year’s 40th ADAC Supercross Stuttgart on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November will see a special constellation. Last year’s overall winner of the SX1 class and thus “King of Stuttgart”, Frenchman Gregory Aranda, is aiming to defend his title. Maxime Desprey, who dominated the SX2 class last year will also be in the SX1 class.

A few days before the 40th anniversary edition of the ADAC Supercross Stuttgart, anticipation is growing. Fans are excited to see which top riders and favorites will fight for the daily and overall victories. The direct clash between last year’s “King of Stuttgart” and the “Prince of Stuttgart” will be particularly exciting, providing additional suspense.

Maxime Desprey

In November 2023, Gregory Aranda showed an outstanding performance in the top SX1 category, winning the final races on both evenings. The now 35-year-old secured the prestigious title of Stuttgart Supercross King for the third time in his career, now tied in the all-time win list with American Jason Thomas (2005, 2006 & 2007).

This year, Marshal Weltin, Jeremy Hand, Mitchell Harrison and Devin Simonsen are the contenders from America.

SX2: A New Prince in awaits…

After Maxime Desprey moved to SX1, the SX2 class is being reshuffled. French riders like Calvin Fonvielle, who finished second overall behind Desprey in Stuttgart and in the SX Cup last year, also have a good chance of taking the top spots here.

Brice Maylin, who finished fourth overall two years ago, is also a hot contender for the Prince title. In his 2023 German debut, US boy Brandon Ray put in a strong performance on Friday with third place, but missed the final on the second evening. This year, Preston Boespflug from the USA is coming to a German Supercross for the first time. As 15th in the 250cc East Coast US SX Championship, he has already had success.
