Back in February during the second round of the Internazionali D´Italia, Lapucci suffered an ankle injury on what he defined as “the biggest and scariest crash” of his career. After that, the Italian rider seemed to recover well as he lined up on some GPs, including Trentino a week ago. However, the complications in his ankle continued every time he throw a leg over his Husqvarna from the SDM-Corse Team.
After Trentino, news exams determined that Lapucci has to be sidelined at least for an entire month. Of course, this is a big setback for him and the team, as Lapucci was in the title chase in the Italian Championship, and also looking for good results in the MXGP class.
