Team France won two out of three races during the Qualifying day at the 76th edition of the Motocross of Nations.

It was a great start for the local heroes as they ended up winning two races. In the MX2 class Tom Vialle snatched the victory from Simon Langenfelder with one lap to go. Meanwhile, in the OPEN class Maxime Renaux put a wire-to-wire performance to put France on pole just like they did last time in Ernée in 2015. Romain Febvre came in fifth in the MXGP Qualifying race but his results were “dropped” as the highest of three.

Spain came in second just 1 point shy behind France. The new MXGP World Champion Jorge Prado was unstoppable in the MXGP Qualifying Race as Ruben Fernandez put a solid second in OPEN. Cheers to Oriol Oliver, the MX2 rider from Spain finished promising eighth place.

Meanwhile, Australia came in 3rd with a second place from Jett Lawrence and a third from Hunter Lawrence. On the other hand, Dean Ferris DNF´s due to a crash but he´s ok for Tomorrow.
