GasGas Red Bull Jorge Prado and Neestan Husqvarna Kay de Wolf won the MXGP Qualifying races at the 14th round of the MXGP World Championship in the deep sand of Lommel, Belgium.
Herlings charged from behind and tried to catch Prado, but the reigning champ kept “The Bullet” at bay until the checkered flag en route to his fourh Qualy Race win. Meanwhile, Red-plate holder Tim Gajser crossed the finish line in third place, more than 20 seconds behind.
In the MX2 class it was another Kay De Wolf vs Lucas Coenen show. This time the Dutchman took the honors against the pressure from his teammate.
