LIVE NOW: Mini O´s Motocross Day 4

The 54th Annual Thor Mini O´s, presented by Pro Circuit, it´s the oldest amateur event in the United States. Held each thanksgiving at the Gatorback track, thounsands of amateurs gathered for a full week of racing between supercross and motocross. As usual, the competition starts on Sunday, November 23, with the first set of heats and main for supercross. After three days, riders move to the motocross track for the rest of the week.

PREVIEW: Riders to Watch

A number of top contenders are out for this year as they eye the 2026 SMX Next season, including Cadney Dudney, Enzo Temmerman, Kayden Minear, or Landen Gordon. Meanwhile, Landen Gibson and Luke Fauser are yet to be confirmed for racing. A back injury will keep Lachlan Turner -two time WMX AMA Motocross champ- as well.

However, there will still plenty of fast long list of classes and divisions. For example, Carson Wood (Star Racing Yamaha) is making a name for himself. Less than a year into his move straight from superminis to big bikes, he turned heads leading laps against well.versed riders troughout 2025, both Loretta Lynn´s and SMX Next races. He is a excellent started, and has been training among the amateur and pros at Star Racing.

Deacon Denno and Darren Pine are Triumph´s new amateur stars. Denno won titles in both 250 B and Schoolboy 2 (12-17) B/C at Loretta Lynn´s, while also setting the fastest lap of the week. Pine won both the Supermini 1 (12-15) and Supermini 2 (13-16) classes at Loretta´s and just made the jump to the big bike. This duo will surely be two riders to keep an eye on throughout the week. Denno in the SX and MX 250 and 450 Pro Sport, plus 250 A in SX. Pine in the 250 and 450 B Limited, and SX Schoolboy 2.

Triumph is also expected to have Mikkel Haarup race both 250 and 450 Pro Sport divisions in just motocross week as the Danish rider stays to sharp and continues to develop the team´s race bike. He is set to race the TF 450-X in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in 2026.

Diesel Thomas had a strong year in 2025, and will be a competitor to watch in the Pro Sport classes aboard his Husqvarna. Other fast Pro Sport profiles to watch: Landon Hartz, Jonathan Getz, Owen Covell, Vincent Wey, Max Shane, Noah Stevens, Wyatt Thurmann, and more.

Also, two-time WMX World Champion Lotte Van Drunen will racing in several classes.
