MXPG Czech Republic 2023, Loket Rider: Benistant

The penultimate round of the MXGP World Championship will see the return of two factory MX2 riders in the form of Neestan Husqvarna´s Kay de Wolf and Monster Energy Yamaha´s Thibault Benistant

Back in July, de Wolf suffered an injury from a practice crash. He´s been OUT since then, but now it seems ready to race this weekend in Maggiora as he won both motos in round thirteen of the OPEN Dutch Championship in Meijel.

At the same time, Yamaha is pleased to confirm the return of Thibault Benistant, who missed six Grand Prix rounds due to injury. Benistant is excited to be back on the gate, especially at Maggiora, the track where he secured his first-ever MX2 race victory.

They won one GP each before injuries got both de Wolf and Benistant. Benistant took the win in front of his home crowd at the MXGP of France in Villars sous Ecot, while Kay de Wolf won his first-ever overall in Latvia.
