MJC Yamaha rider suffered a fractured left foot at the opening round of the Dutch Championship in Harfsen. According to the medical report, the recovery will be a major setback for much of the 125cc European Championship, which starts on April 9-10 in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.
The young Czech talent had just had a good season as a privateer KTM rider, finishing fifth in the final championship standings and winning the first race at Lommel, one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar. These results attracted the interest of MJC Yamaha, who did not hesitate to sign him for 2023. His preseason had started with some lows, but unfortunately what happened in Harfsen has weighed down his goals.
