Jordon Smith Seth to make his 450SX debut in Arlington

Jordon Smith 450 debut

Triumph Factory Racing has confirmed that Jordon Smith will return to action this weekend at Round 7 of the 2026 AMA Supercross Championship in Arlington, where he will also make his debut in the premier 450SX class.

Smith’s move up to the 450 division had originally been planned for last season, but those plans were delayed after he suffered a shoulder injury in the SuperMotocross World Championship Final in Las Vegas. The recovery process sidelined him for the opening six rounds of the current championship.

During his absence, his seat was filled by Austin Forkner, who unfortunately sustained an injury of his own in Round 4. At this stage, it remains unclear whether Forkner will be fit to return for the 250SX East division alongside Jalek Swoll.

For Smith, Arlington marks the beginning of a new chapter after an extensive and successful career in the 250 class. Among his recent highlights was delivering Triumph’s first-ever victory last season in Glendale — a milestone moment for the British manufacturer.
